We have today unveiled two new document scanners: the fi-7700 and fi-7600. Designed for the digital transformation era, the new models are able to capture documents up to A3 size in a wide variety of paper weights in one batch, saving time and cost for production-level scanning in a professional environment. The fi-7700 model combines ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) and flatbed functionality. Both models provide a higher level of flexibility than higher volume scanners. Users can load documents easily by adjusting the rotating ADF of the fi-7700 to suit the users’ office or workspace environment. The straight paper path allows for very thick materials to be processed. The A3 flatbed in the fi-7700 is well suited for fragile or oversized documents like magazines. The fi-7600 model comes with dual fold-out operating panels to support left-to-right and right-to-left scanning scenarios. These new additions to the successful line-up of fi Series document scanners process a wider variety of document qualities, materials, shapes and sizes without special settings or operator interaction, granting the user even more flexibility. The combination of cutting-edge hardware with PaperStream software provides a complete solution for high clarity image processing, routine automation and document routing.
We will be showcasing our latest document scanners at the Fujitsu Technology Solutions stand in Hall 4, A38.
The latest additions to the document scanner portfolio are all about facilitating digital transformation. The new multi-skilled scanners feature impressive daily duty cycles and are designed to improve work efficiency for all customers, including public sector, financial services and healthcare industries, as well as Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) service providers and scanning service bureaus. At CeBIT, these new scanner models will be showcased in real-life vertical market scenarios to demonstrate how users can streamline workflows and reduce the cost of capture.
Another CeBIT highlight is ScanSnap Cloud, a free service that enables the sending of scanned data directly to cloud applications, without requiring a connection to a computer or mobile device. ScanSnap Cloud is being offered for the ScanSnap iX100 and iX500 models.
For the third year in a row, we hosted another successful KnowledgeStream Partner Alliance open day at our Hayes Park office. The event welcomed three of our advanced Software Alliance Partners: Nuance, DocMoto and DokMee, who demonstrated how their solutions add valuable features and capabilities to our scanners, working alongside them seamlessly. more »

Trending in the top 10 UK Tweets and #1 for over an hour, #MicroBizMattersDay was a truly special event, attended by a great number of small entrepreneurs sharing their experiences with business experts, and one another.
For the third year in a row, the #MicroBizMattersDay co-founders Tina and Tony connected people around the world, in real time and after the event, enabling everyone to pool both their knowledge and opportunities to further their businesses.
Many successful entrepreneurs gave their time voluntarily and promoted the day across their networks during the eight hour continuous broadcast of live Google Hangouts interviews.

Wow! We are proud to announce a new milestone for the Fujitsu ScanSnap scanners; four million scanners have been sold worldwide!
The very first ScanSnap, the fi-4110EOX, was introduced in 2001. In April 2014 we broke the three million mark and barely three years later we have made it to four million. We look forward to continuing the ScanSnap success story. With ScanSnap sales ramping up fast, only Fujitsu’s own fi Series range of professional document management scanners have a larger user base. more »
Another year has passed like the wind and we’d love to share some of our highlights in 2016.
- In March, we showcased our new fi Series scanners, the fi-7460 and the fi-7480 at CeBIT in Hannover.
- In June, we were proud to announce that another fi Series scanner was joining the family of professional scanners. The fi-7030 is an evolved entry model suitable for quick scanning, ideal for desktop scanning with its compact size and card scanning capability.
- Again in June, we held the Fujitsu World Tour! We stopped in various European cities. Under the motto “Human Centric Innovation in Action”, visitors could participate in a number of expert talks, breakout sessions and technology cases.
- In September, we hosted the Information Capture Conference in London. This high-level conference brought together over 400 distributors, resellers and software partners from across EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), offering valuable insights into the latest trends and market opportunities in the document capture industry.
- November proved to be a busy month for Fujitsu. Not only were we honoured as “Company of the Year” by DM Magazine, but we also extended our SP Series by launching the SP-1425, a scanner that combines flatbed and ADF in a compact design, so it fits into even the smallest offices.
- November also brought Fujitsu Forum to Munich where we offered visitors a sneak peek of our new ScanSnap Cloud service, which has been available since the end of November. ScanSnap Cloud offers the possibility to scan straight into your cloud service, without having to use your scanner.
We had a great 2016 and hope to continue our successful journey with your support in 2017!
